Where We Come From
In Pakistan, sweetness is woven into everyday life.
It lives in evening falooda runs after dinner, mithai boxes carried carefully to someone’s home, bakery cakes wrapped with string, chai shared with guests, and desserts placed at the center of family gatherings.
Meetha is not only saved for special occasions. It creates them. It marks visits, celebrations, thoughtful gestures, and the simple joy of sharing something sweet.
These rituals shaped how we understood dessert – not as indulgence alone, but as connection, hospitality, and memory.
THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
What does Kuch Meetha mean?
In Urdu and Hindi, “kuch meetha” means “something sweet.” It is the phrase you hear after good news, before guests arrive, during celebrations, or when an ordinary moment deserves a little joy.
For us, it means more than dessert. It means hospitality, comfort, celebration, and the sweetness that brings people together.

From Lahore to Atlanta
When we moved away from home, we carried those memories with us – the flavors, the rituals, and the feeling of being welcomed with something sweet.
Over time, that longing became a vision: to recreate the desserts we grew up loving, while presenting them in a way that feels thoughtful, modern, and beautifully made.
